Antipsara Island

Escape to an uninhabited paradise

Where time stops, Antipsara begins. The neighbouring, uninhabited satellite of Psara is a small paradise for those seeking absolute tranquility and natural beauty. This truly untouched place is part of the Natura 2000 network. It is an important refuge for marine bird species and has unique endemic habitats. Its wild geomorphology combined with the protection status keep the landscape serene, without any organised infrastructure.
The most attractive spots on Antipsara are for many the enchanting beaches with crystal clear waters. Make a stop at the stunning Psili Ammos, with its golden sand, which is considered one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean.  Lakka on the east coast, Agali and the picturesque bay of Limiou, which is ideal for anchoring, also stand out.
Antipsara is also a great choice for hikers. It is worth following the path to the northern part, where the lighthouse and the highest hill of the island, Psili Rahi, are located. From there, the panoramic view and the incredible sunset will take your breath away. While wandering, look for the two small, humble chapels located on the island, adding a touch of spiritual tranquility to the exploration.
