Most toll stations now accept contactless card payments at manual lanes. Some motorways also feature automated payment machines.
The fastest method. This allows you to use dedicated electronic lanes without stopping.
A major benefit of the Greek toll system is that one transponder is sufficient for all of Greece. For example, if you have an Attiki Odos e-pass, you can use it seamlessly on the Egnatia Odos, Olympia Odos, Ionia Odos, and all other major motorways across the country.

In Greece, the general legal alcohol limit for driving is 0.50 g/l (blood alcohol concentration) or 0.25 mg/l (breath alcohol concentration). A stricter limit of 0.20 g/l applies to novice and professional drivers, as even low levels of alcohol consumption significantly increase the risk of an accident.
