Pinios Festival

The Pinios Festival is one of the most vibrant and distinctive cultural events in Thessaly. It takes place every year on the banks of the Pinios River, usually in late June, and transforms the urban environment into an open space for music and creative expression.
During the event, you can explore a vibrant world of activities along a 4km stretch on both sides of the historical course of the Pinios River, just 300 metres from the central square of Larisa. Concerts featuring established and emerging artists, visual art installations, theatrical performances, creative workshops, and activities for children comprise a multifaceted programme.
The festival offers the opportunity to experience Larisa in a different way: through a public space that is transformed into a meeting place and celebration. It emphasises sustainability, collectivism, and the creative use of the natural landscape, highlighting the Pinios River as an integral part of urban life. The active involvement of local organisations, clubs, and volunteers creates a welcoming atmosphere that will invite you to become a part of it.
The Pinios Festival is a comprehensive cultural tourism experience that combines entertainment, connection with nature, and modern culture, offering the opportunity for unforgettable memories in the heart of Greece.
