A bay brimming with choices for swimming and nautical adventures
The beaches around Porto Heli compose one of the most iconic landscapes of Ermionida: turquoise waters, pine forests that reach almost to the water's edge, and small coves alternating with open, sun-drenched shores.
To the south and southeast of the settlement, beaches with a more cosmopolitan character unfold. Hinitsa, sandy and largely organised, stands out for its clear, shallow waters and the view of the small islet directly opposite. A little further on, Agios Aimilianos reveals a sequence of lush green coves and calm seas; the landscape becomes even more enchanting in the late afternoon, when the light shifts towards the island of Spetses. In the same area, Kounoupi remains more unpretentious and natural, with sand and fine pebbles—ideal if you are arriving by sea.
To the north, the scenery becomes quieter and more open. Ververonda, located past the lagoon, combines pebbles and clean waters with basic infrastructure, while Korakia, with its double shore and coarse pebbles, offers a wilder, pine-clad experience accessible via a dirt road. Slightly further away, Lepitsa, near the village of Koilada, remains a steady choice for families, offering an organised beach and a tranquil environment.
Renting a small boat or a RIB reveals beaches and coves that are not easily accessible by road, offering a unique sense of freedom within the landscape.
