Cut the pumpkin flesh into medium-sized pieces.
Next, chop the onion into small pieces and let it cook gently in a pot over low heat.
Once the onion is softened, remove the pot from the heat, add the paprika and deglaze with vinegar.
Add the pumpkin pieces and stir well.
Add the cumin and the crushed garlic cloves.
Let the mixture simmer for about 15 minutes, until the pumpkin becomes soft and can be mashed into a purée.
Add the milk and stir. The soup is now almost ready!
Taste the soup and season with nutmeg, salt, pepper and a little extra vinegar if needed.
